I offer significant research, publishing and teaching experience in the fields of religion, violence, and peacebuilding from a multi-disciplinary perspective combining historical, theological, sociological, anthropological, and comparative political science perspectives.

I am working on developing an Islam and Negotiation Action Guide for Muslim Women. Based on Quranic verses and Prophetic examples, this Action Guide offers practical tools to assist Muslim negotiators to more effectively organize, strategize and negotiate their rights and gender justice, secure human rights, and establish just political systems.
